The Mainline Project: The Movie is an upcoming British feature-length film with a cast of characters and a plot all set and filmed within The Mainline Project Minecraft Server. The film was originally planned to be released on the 29th August 2022 as part of The Mainline Project's 5th Anniversary celebrations but has been delayed to a date sometime in 2024.

SYNOPSIS:

What would happen if the railways were replaced by teleportation technology? Charles T. Bear is a businessman with a plan. 'Project Ripon' is his baby, a plan to replace the railways with teleportation. Will he succeed, or will he be proven that the railways are the way?

PRODUCTION:

TheTedLad2003 and Chazi898 first thought of the idea of a film for the 5th Anniversary Celebrations in October 2021. Ted then developed this idea further, with the film being officially announced to the public on Christmas Day 2021 at 3pm GMT. Filming began in Late-February and wrapped in July.
