• What is this network?

This map is a UK-style based traincraft map that started with Chaz and Ted building a mainline and some branchlines, and slowly progress has built up, and there is now an expansive network of all types of lines to drive on and perform different services and duties. This map can be seen on the dynmap, link available on the home page of this website.

  • Can I Build?

You must get the Experienced-Driver Rank (140Km of driving) before you are allowed to build. If you wish to build something, or advertise or god knows what, please consult Chaz or Ted first about it. We have some structured plans for the server map, and want to have everything on it within reason.

  • What do I need to come on?

We have a Technic Modpack that you can download. Alternatively you can simply search Mainline or Mainline Project in the Technic Launcher, and it should come up.

Using the links provided in the Mod Requirements page of this website, you can manually install the mods needed into your mods folder. Remember to take out any mods that are not for the correct version (1.7.10). Every correct version of each mod is also listed along with the mod itself.

  • If I don't want to/can't build, what can I do?

We are currently setting up a system using things we call 'Quid Machines' or £10 Machines. These will eventually be located at every single station on the map, and you simply press the button once, and you recieve £10 (it won't work if you click it again). You have to go round as many stations as you can, collecting as much money as possible, in order to buy new trains to drive around.

Eventually you will be able to gain a few ranks based on how much money and driving you have achieved.

There are currently free Starter Trains located at Stonelea Central in the concourse; the station directly in front of spawn.

We have tons of lines you can explore, and hundreds of named stations to visit, with some interesting structures along the way.

  • What are your aims?

Our aims consist of expanding the network as much as possible, and as far as possible, to achieve holding the largest Traincraft network currently available. This includes having fully built up scenery around the tracks, and places you can visit, along with a few Easter Eggs here and there. At Present, a full East-West Non Stop run takes roughly 2 hours at fast line speed limits. This will increase as our mainlines expand.
